Do you have safe ID for Festivals?

Festival Fever – Save the Date.

You could take your passport to the festival – or your driving licence.  But that’s risky.  Where are you going to keep it safe?  Is it worth leaving it in your tent for a not so-friendly visitor to take?

May Bank Holiday is set to be scorcher, what better way to chill out than planning your Festival calendar and your ID options.

Let’s start with dates for your diary:

There are some great line ups this year, Liam Gallagher, Rita Ora, Stereophonics, Kasabian and Manic Street Preachers to name a few but as always there will be a few old favourites, not to mention a lot of new up and coming bands.

How much does it cost?

The Venue and popularity will have an impact on your pocket.  A weekend ticket is going to cost somewhere between £150- £250. In most cases the price will include camping for the weekend, however, if you are a student and you have an NUS or ISIC card, you may be lucky enough to secure a 10 or 15% discount on weekend tickets.  Please check the individual festival websites for offers and availability.

Wherever you choose to go, one thing will remain the same – The ID!!!!

Most of the Major Festivals will operate a Challenge 21 policy – What does this mean?

If you don’t look it – you will be refused it!

What ID do you need that is accepted under Challenge 21?

A Passport and Photocard Driving Licence are two of the most wanted documents for identity theft.  Don’t give thieves a chance to steal yours!  Stay smart – from only  £15.00 My ID Card is an official, PASS-accredited proof of age card, recognised and accepted at all major festivals as official ID.
